While Edmunds has been staying involved with meetings and such, it’s huge for the Bears defense to get their MIKE linebacker back as they work to get communication down.

Among the players who didn’t practice Tuesday included safeties Eddie Jackson and Jaquan Brisker, wide receivers Chase Claypool, Dante Pettis and Joe Reed, defensive ends Yannick Ngakoue and DeMarcus Walker, running back Trestan Ebner, linebackers Dylan Cole and DeMarquis Gates, cornerbacks Josh Blackwell and Jaylon Jones and left guard Teven Jenkins.
