CHICAGO _ The Bears defense looked like it was made for prime time Sunday night in a 25-20 victory over the Vikings at Soldier Field.
The Bears forced three Vikings turnovers and pressured Minnesota quarterback Kirk Cousins at key points throughout the night to help lift the Bears to their fourth straight victory and a 7-3 record on national television.
Bears safety Eddie Jackson had a 27-yard interception return for a touchdown, safety Adrian Amos also intercepted Cousins and outside linebacker Khalil Mack forced and recovered a fumble.
Cousins found receiver Stefon Diggs for a 5-yard touchdown pass with 48 seconds to play, but Akiem Hicks batted down Cousins' 2-point conversion pass to keep a five-point lead. The Bears then recovered the Vikings' onside kick.
Bears quarterback Mitch Trubisky threw two interceptions and running back Tarik Cohen lost a fumble, but the Bears defense didn't allow the Vikings into the end zone after any of those turnovers.
Bears kicker Cody Parkey made a 48-yard field goal with 2:48 to play to give the Bears a 25-14 lead. Parkey, who bounced four kicks off the uprights in the Bears' victory over the Lions last week, was 3-for-3 on field goals.
Parkey broke his streak of hitting uprights on field goal attempts on the Bears' first drive after he made a 33-yard field goal with 5:58 to play in the first quarter to give the Bears a 3-0 lead against the Vikings.
Trubisky completed an 18-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Anthony Miller and a 2-point conversion throw to Josh Bellamy for an 11-0 Bears lead with 6 minutes to play in the second quarter.
The Bears got their first touchdown drive of the game going with the running game, including seven straight rushing plays by either Trubisky or running back Jordan Howard. Trubisky ended up running the ball 10 times for 43 yards.
Parkey made a 41-yard field goal with 50 seconds to play in the second quarter to give the Bears a 14-0 lead at halftime.
