Newsreader Amanda Harper received a raft of support after a cruel viewer rang in to complain about her outfit. The BBC Look North presenter was victim to cruel bullying on Sunday.
Amanda, from Stockport, took to Twitter with the perfect response after being the subject of a nasty phone call. The viewer took a dislike to Amanda's multi-coloured dress grumbling that it made her look 'think set' and 'matronly' - and she was the one to take the call when they rang in after her bulletin.
She shared a photo of herself looking stunning in the dress, with a red, pink and tan pattern on the top and a plain black skirt. And Amanda tweeted a 'warning' to the caller.'

"To the women who called in after the bulletin to say my dress made me look 'very thick set around the middle and matronly' a little warning, I’ll be wearing it again for the late show," she wrote, adding a sassy nail-painting emoji. Fans rushed to her defence, complimenting the dress and asking where she got it.
Others commented on her resemblance to actress Cate Blanchett in her role as a glamorous newsreader in the film Don't Look Up. Amanda said: "Thank you for all your kind comments, I’m a sensitive old soul. Just lovely."
@ZoeSomebody asked: "Someone called in?" And Amanda replied: "Yep, I took the call." aharper01 said: "No idea why people think it's appropriate to make these comments but it doesn't make you look any such thing. Not that a complete stranger's opinion has anything to do with it, including mine!"
@kevwgs told her: "You aren’t our local news area, however the dress is absolutely beautiful and my wife has asked where you bought it from please? Thank you." And @flaminhaystacks commented: "When women behave like this towards other women, they are projecting their own insecurity. Putting women down who they are jealous of it is to try and make those terrible feelings of jealousy reduce. Sadly it never works for them. But keep shining. You look great."
@Zoezebra replied: "Wow. I’m continually staggered that women are judged on what they wear/how they look. I really shouldn’t be, but the optimist in me likes to believe people can be better than this." And @Abbiedew exclaimed: "Some people!! You stopped me in my Twitter stroll tracks as you looked so lush."
@FJHendersonECMS asked: "People really ring in to comment like this?! I think you look fab and would like to know where the dress is from." And Amanda told them: "Thank you It’s from Therapy but I’ve had it a few years." And @sonjajessup tweeted: "You look beautiful Amanda. This says a lot more about them, frankly. X"
