BBC NI confirm Championship coverage with six Ulster SFC games to be shown live

BBC NI are set to broadcast six Ulster Senior Football Championship games live this summer, including the semi-finals and final.

There will also be online highlights from the games that aren’t being broadcast live, starting with Saturday’s Ulster SFC preliminary round meeting between champions Tyrone and Fermanagh at Brewster Park.

The Ulster Ladies’ Senior Football Championship final will also be streamed live on BBC Sport NI and there will be online highlights of Armagh’s clash with Monaghan on Saturday, April 30.

BBC’s live coverage of the men’s Ulster SFC begins next weekend when they broadcast Antrim’s clash with Cavan at Corrigan Park on Saturday, April 23 before the cameras roll into Ballybofey for the eagerly-anticipated tie between Donegal and Armagh on Sunday, April 23

BBC Northern Ireland's panel includes Peter Canavan, Oisin McConville, Martin Clarke, Mickey Harte and Martin McHugh, who will join host Mark Sidebottom, commentator Thomas Niblock and the team of sideline reporters.

Commentator and host of the BBC's The GAA Social podcast, Thomas Niblock, said: "Following on from our live coverage of the GAA Allianz Leagues we're right into the heat of the Ulster Championship.
