BASK:Kings welcome back championship-winning American

The Sydney Kings have lured back a second member of their championship-winning import trio, with former NBA player Torrey Craig agreeing to a one-year deal.

The NBL must still register the 35-year-old American's contract for the move to be finalised, but this is considered a formality.

Craig joins championship series MVP Kendric Davis in returning for the 2026/27 season, when star-studded Sydney are set to start amongst title favourites again.

A veteran of 538 NBA games, Craig joined the Kings mid-season in January following a serious knee injury to local wing Bul Kuol.

Craig went on to win his first 11 games with the club and finished the season averaging 12.4 points and 6.4 rebounds per game.

He was part of their 3-2 championship series defeat of the Adelaide 36ers, but did not have the same impact on the nailbiting series as star players Davis and Xavier Cooks.
