Hot on the heels of a recent refurb, city centre restaurant Barolo has introduced a new menu.
And to announce the launch, the team behind the Mitchell Street venue has challenged Glaswegians on their Italian, by asking them to attempt the correct pronunciation of 'cicchetti', or 'chi-keh-te', translating as small plates.
They took to the streets of Glasgow to see how the locals articulate their culinary creation - you can see how they got on by pressing play on the video above.
‘The ‘cicchetti’ menu includes a ‘stuzzichini’ section with the likes of ’Linguine Al Pistascchio’ - a pasta dish featuring pistachio pesto with swordfish, and ‘Frittatina Di Maccheroni, mac n cheese in breadcrumbs with Scamorza affumicata cheese and cotto ham.
Also included is the ‘Neapolitan Pizzette’, a sourdough base, with San Marzano tomato sauce, fior di latte mozzarella, and other regional ingredients, aimed at taking you all the way to downtown Naples.
Meanwhile, the updated cocktail menu features a zesty grapefruit or pear spritz, or a classic aged Negroni.
Barolo is offering three plates from £15.95, Monday to Thursday from noon to 5.45pm, and Friday 12-2.45pm.
