Barnsley v Sheffield Wednesday TV channel and kick-off time for League One play-off final

A place in the Championship is up for grabs on Monday afternoon when Barnsley and Sheffield Wednesday meet at Wembley Stadium.

It was Plymouth Argyle and Ipswich Town who dominated the third tier this season but the Owls pushed them close, and Darren Moore's men will be determined to join the Pilgrims and the Tractor Boys in English football's second tier next term.

Standing in front of them, though, are a resolute Tykes side who will be bidding to get back into the Championship at the first time of asking, having been relegated last year.

Here is everything you need to know:

What time is Barnsley v Sheffield Wednesday kick-off?

Barnsley v Sheffield Wednesday kicks off at 3pm on Monday, May 29, at Wembley Stadium, London.

Is Barnsley v Sheffield Wednesday on TV? What about live streaming?

Yes, Barnsley v Sheffield Wednesday will be broadcast live on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Football. Coverage starts at 2pm. Sky customers can stream the match on the Sky Go app.

What have the coaches said?

Barnsley manager Michael Duff: "They'll have thousands more games than us and that might help them, it might not. Our youth and naivety might help us. I'm not concerned about anyone freezing. It might happen but it could happen with older players as well. It's a one-off occasion and whoever can handle it best. We talk about youthfulness, intensity and quality. That's the strapline we've used for this team all season. If we can bring all three to the party on Monday then we have got a good chance."

Sheffield Wednesday manager Darren Moore: "I've known Duffers a little while over the course of our football careers and now he's into management. Am I surprised with the work he's done at Barnsley? No. Why am I not? Because he is thorough and meticulous with his work and sees and understands the game, and he's very astute with his approach in terms of how he sets his teams up and understanding the strengths and weaknesses.

"He's shown a level of consistency with wonderful leadership qualities. He is clear and methodical in his approach and clear in his views. He's done a magnificent job to go in there and steady the ship. And not only to do that, but give the whole place belief. Credit to him for the work he has done this season, it really has been a tremendous bit of work. As managers, you can appreciate work done over the course of a season and he really has done a magnificent job. But he knows it as I have told him myself, because I told him after we played them."
