A pensioner has died behind bars at Barlinnie prision.
The 69-year-old passed away two and a half years into a four year sentence for abusing three young boys in the 1990s.
The cause of James Bradie's death is not yet known and an inquiry will be held into the circumstances at a later date.
The Scottish Prison Service confirmed this week that he passed away on May 31 and police have been informed.

Bradie was jailed in November 2020 at the High Court in Glasgow for lewd and indecent behaviour against three boys from Falkirk. At the time Police described his crimes as 'horrendous'.
A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal and a Fatal Accident Inquiry is set to be carried out
A Scottish Prison Service staement read: "James Bradie, 69, a prisoner at HMP Barlinnie has died on 31 May, 2023.
"He was convicted at Glasgow High Court in 2020. Police Scotland have been advised and the matter reported to the Procurator Fiscal. A Fatal Accident Inquiry will be held in due course."
