Goran Barjaktarevic has quit as coach of Thai League 1 side Chonburi for personal reasons, the club said yesterday.
The German is the eighth coach to leave his post or be sacked this season.
Once a giant in the domestic competition, Chonburi have struggled this season and are currently 11th in Thai League 1 after eight games.
"I cannot continue in my duty because of personal reasons. Chonburi and I have mutually agreed to terminate the contract for the club to move forward,'' Barjaktarevic said in a statement.
"I would like to thank the club and everyone in the team that worked very hard with me for the past three months. I do hope that Chonburi will become successful in the future."
Barjaktarevic was appointed coach of the Sharks before the season started.
In his eight matches in charge, Chonburi had three wins, one draw and four losses.
Jakkraphan Panpee has been named the caretaker coach.
Meanwhile, Air Force Central yesterday appointed Andrew Ord as coach.
Promoted Air Force have had a poor start to the season with only one point from eight games.
Sasom Pobprasert immediately resigned as their coach after the team suffered a 3-1 home loss to fellow newcomers PT Prachaup at the weekend.
Air Force wanted Sasom to stay put but he insisted on leaving the team to shoulder responsibility for the poor results.
Air Force said they would give Ord five matches to prove his ability before giving him a long-term contract.
