THOUSANDS of Bank of Scotland customers have not been able to access their online banking due to an outage.
Lloyds Banking Group has apologised to its customers due to the issue adding that they are “working hard to fix” the problem.
Lloyds, Halifax and Bank of Scotland customers reportedly have not been able to access their online banking on either the website or the app since 11.15am on Wednesday.
In a message on the Lloyds app, the bank said: “Sorry, we're having a few technical problems. Logging in again may fix the issue, but if this doesn't help, please try again later."
On the app a 503 error message has been popping up for customers, which indicates a server is not ready to handle requests.
Replying to a customer on X/Twitter, Halifax posted: “We're aware some customers are having issues with our app and online banking. We're really sorry about this," Lloyds Bank posted on X, external.
“We're working hard to fix it and will let you know as soon as we're back to normal,” it added.
