The new zonal office of the Bank of India (BOI) began operations in the city on Friday. The office will oversee the operations of the bank in six districts in Kerala.
With the new office, BOI will have 68 zonal offices, 12 National Banking Group offices and 5,100 branches across the country, a press note issued by the bank said.
