The bank holiday weekend is finally here, bringing with it a hot and sunny three-day weekend.
With temperatures heading soaring above 25C across much of the UK, barbecues, Pimms and sunbathing will be on the cards for many.
As it is bank holiday Monday, most major shops and supermarkets will open and close at different times - so if you’re in need of some last-minute shopping, see our handy guide below.

Tesco
Tesco Express stores will be open normal hours today, but larger stores will be open 9am to 6pm. To check specific stores, see the links below.

Most Sainsbury’s stores will be open from 7am to 10pm.
Asda
Most Asda stores will be open from 8am to 8pm.
Waitrose
The majority of stores will be open from 9am to 6pm, but some may close earlier.
Lidl
Most stores will open from 8am and close around 9pm.
Aldi
The majority of stores will open at 8am and close at 8pm.
Morrisons
Most stores will be open between 8am and 7pm.
Argos
Most shops open from 9am to 5.30pm.
B&Q
Most B&Q stores will open at 7am and close at 9pm.
Wickes
Most Wickes stores will open at around 7am and close at 9pm.
