Bank holiday in Bristol: Where to get a hip hop bottomless brunch this weekend

Few things beat a good bottomless brunch to kick off the day in style.

While brunch has been around for centuries, the popularity of the dish has surged in popularity in recent years, with pretty much every new restaurant shouting about their late morning breakfast when they open.

And if there's anything we like more than smashed avocado and oozing poached eggs, it's a bucket load of unlimited prosecco and Bloody Marys to wash it down with.

In Bristol there are plenty of restaurants that serve a brilliant bottomless brunch - and every now and then a venue will host a one-off boozy brekkie with a difference.

The latest to do so is Four Wise Monkeys, which has catered its first ever bottomless brunch to hip hop lovers.

On Sunday (May 30), the Clare Street restaurant is hosting an Asian-inspired brunch with bottomless drinks, accompanied by classic hip hop tunes spun by live DJs.

A Four Wise Monkeys spokesperson said: "Join us for two hours of bottomless fizz and your choice of our banging brunch dishes between 10am-12pm, all set to the best old school hip hop, and come and celebrate Bank Holiday with great food, free flowing fizz and awesome tunes."

Options on the menu include banana pancake stacks, sausage and bacon buns and kimchi fried rice, alongside waffle fries or hash browns and a selection of fresh fruit.

Tickets are £30 per person and include brunch, bottomless fizz and live DJs for a two hour slot. Bookings are made per table.

The venue will be operating in line with strict Covid-secure regulations. For more information and tickets, visit here.
