Dattatreya takes oath as Haryana Governor

Bandaru Dattatreya took the oath as the 18th Governor of Haryana here on Thursday.

Punjab and Haryana High Court Chief Justice Ravi Shankar Jha administered the oath of office and confidentiality to Mr. Dattatreya at a function held at the Haryana Raj Bhawan. A special contingent of the Haryana Armed Police presented the guard of honour to the Governor.

A four-time MP, Mr. Dattatreya had been a Minister in the Union government thrice. He was appointed the Governor of Himachal Pradesh in 2019.
