'Bale back!' - Tottenham fans track Gareth Bale's private jet ahead of transfer confirmation

Tottenham Hotspur supporters have taken to social media after seemingly tracking the plane that Gareth Bale will board for his flight to England.

The Real Madrid forward is expected to travel to Tottenham and complete his season-long loan deal on Friday, with the club also hoping to announce the signing of Sergio Reguilon.

Both Bale and Reguilon have completed the bulk of their medicals in Spain and undertaken an MRI each before they tie up the double deal with Spurs.

Speaking after Tottenham's 2-1 win over Locomotiv Plovdiv in the Europa League second qualifying round, Spurs boss Jose Mourinho again refused to comment on the imminent arrival of Bale.

"I cannot comment, I don't comment on something that I don't know," he said.

"For me, at this moment, until I'm told Gareth Bale is a Tottenham player, I still think and feel and respect the fact that he's a Real Madrid player, so I'm not going to comment on a Real Madrid player."

Nevertheless, some Spurs supporters could not contain their excitement and took to Twitter to post a link to track what they allege is the private jet which Bale and Reguilon will board for their flight to England.

Bale arrived at the private terminal at Madrid airport on Friday morning with his family as he prepares to jet to north London and complete the formalities of his move.

One fan wrote: "Here we go!" Another posted: "This is the one."

Bale's agent Jonathan Barnett previously confirmed that talks are ongoing between the parties to secure his player a move back to Tottenham.

"Gareth still loves Spurs," he told BBC Sport Wales.

"We are talking [Spurs, Real and Bale’s camp]. It’s where he wants to be."
