Bafta TV awards 2022 full nominee list including Emmerdale, Gogglebox and Stacey Solomon

It's an exciting day for showbiz stars and TV lovers as the BAFTA Awards 2022 will air on our screens tonight. Stars have been spotted getting ready for tonight's glamorous red carpet before they strut their stuff on the red carpet outside London's Royal Festival Hall.

This year's show has many talented actors and actresses hoping to bag an award for their work, as well as some popular TV hosts and reality stars too. Made In Chelsea star Sam Thompson and radio star Vicki Hope will be offering a sneak peek into the action from 2pm on Facebook and YouTube, before Richard Ayoade hosts the main show on BBC One at 6pm.

While some stars like Holly Willoughby, Suranne Jones, and Ant and Dec are regulars at the BAFTA awards, some stars are nominated for the very first time. It's A Sin stars Olly Alexander and Callum Scott Howells are among the newbies to have been nominated.

Lead actresses including Kate Winslet and Vigil star Suranne Jones are up for awards. Beloved drama on ITV, Unforgotten is up for a gong and Sean Bean’s tormented performance as accidental killer Mark Cobden in Time has bagged him a nomination.

Emily Mortimer is tipped for her role in The Pursuit Of Love, but is up against Celine Buckens for her portrayal of spoilt heiress Talitha Campbell in Showtrial. Must-see moment nominees include I'm A Celebrity and Ru Paul's Drag Race UK.

Adele’s onscreen reunion with the teacher who changed her life and Rose Ayling-Ellis’ silent dance on Strictly Come Dancing are both in the running to be named the ‘must-see moment’.
