Bade Miyan Chote Miyan box office collection Day 11: Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff starrer earns just Rs 5.65 crore in second weekend

'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan', starring Bollywood superstars Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff, had a less than impressive second weekend at the box office.

The film began its second week at the box office on a sluggish note, with a collection of Rs 1.4 crore, and saw little growth on Saturday and Sunday. According to Sacnilk.com, the film earned around Rs 1.75 crore on Saturday and saw minimal growth on Sunday, earning just around Rs 2.50 crore nett.

After earning an estimated Rs 49.9 crore in its first week, the film managed to earn just around Rs 5.65 crore on its second weekend, thus pushing its overall total to an estimated Rs 55.55 crore nett.

Besides failing to rake in the big bucks on the domestic front, the film also failed to see much growth in the international markets. Overseas, 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan' raked in an estimated Rs 27.35 crore. With this international collection, the worldwide box office total now stands at an estimated Rs 90.5 crore.

Despite the initial hype surrounding its release and the star power of its leading actors, 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan' seems to have encountered challenges in maintaining audience interest beyond the opening weekend.

Reacting to the film's poor performance, leading lady Manushi Chhillar said that while it is the dream of any actor to want their film to succeed, she told Zoom, "Sometimes, it doesn't happen which is completely normal."
