B&M selling a dog ‘comfort coat’ to help calm anxious pets in time for Bonfire Night

If your dog is suffering with anxiety, then you might want to head down to your nearest B&M.

The budget retailer is now selling a dog “comfort coat” that can be used to help calm your pet when they're feeling anxious.

According to the packaging, the wrap provides relief for dogs during thunderstorms, fireworks or vet visits.

It can also be worn by your pet in the car if they struggle with travelling. Lightweight and machine washable, the coat is priced at only £6 and can be found in B&M stores across the UK.

Simply wrap it around your furry friend's torso and secure it with the velcro fastening - the wrap is available in sizes small to extra large.

A dog owner recently alerted bargain-hunters about the coat by sharing her find on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook page.

She said: "Found in B&M... dogs calming comfort wrap. For dogs who suffer from anxiety/ stress from fireworks, thunderstorms."

Unfortunately, B&M isn't selling the wrap online so you’ll need to make a trip to your local store to pick one up. You can use the online store finder tool to track down your nearest branch.

We've had a look for similar options online and Amazon is currently selling a Thundershirt Anxiety Coat for dogs, which is slightly more expensive at £23.49.

Last month, we discovered that Aldi is selling a nifty Pet Stairs for seriously pampered pooches.

It comes in a black and grey design and will set you back only £12.99.
