
Azerbaijan's Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Shahin Abdullaye praised the distinguished professional level of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief) and its high missions in supporting affected countries and peoples around the world, especially Azerbaijan.
Abdullaye expressed his sincere thanks to the Kingdom, which provided over 100 million dollars in the past years in humanitarian and development aid to the Republic of Azerbaijan, including shelter and humanitarian logistics, support for the education sector and rehabilitation of drinking water and sanitation systems, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
Meanwhile, the Saudi center distributed this week 330 food baskets to displaced and affected people in AlMudhaffar and Salh districts, Taiz Governorate, Yemen.
The aid comes within the efforts of Saudi Arabia, represented in KSRelief, to support the Yemeni people.
Also in Bangladesh, the Saudi center handed over 50 tons of dates as a gift from the Kingdom.
According to SPA, another 50 tons of dates was gifted to the Republic of Ghana in the presence of Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration of Ghana Mohammad Tijani, Saudi Ambassador to Ghana, Mishaal Hamdan Al-Ruqi and representatives of the Saudi Ministry of the Finance and the Center.
