Ayda Field has shared a highly embarrassing story of a time her trousers burst open while she was standing in front of Her Majesty, The Queen.
The 41-year-old American actress is the wife of Take That legend Robbie Williams, 46, and they have four children together.
Ayda and Rob are close to the Royal Family and were guests at the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex in 2018.
The duo have also been guests at the annual Royal Variety Performance in London – which is where Ayda had her awkward wardrobe malfunction.
Speaking to The Sun, the mum-of-four said the mishap was due to her trying to wear a pair of trousers that she hadn’t worn since giving birth.
She said: “I’ve always been trim and just think you’ll go back to the size you were before. It goes back, kind off.
"You have the same puzzle pieces and you can make the puzzle but it’s a little bit wonky.”
Explaining the incident at the Royal Variety Performance, she said: “I had bought some trousers in Topshop and tried to convince myself they were fine — before they popped open in front of the Queen.
“She didn’t notice, thankfully. Had I exposed myself to her in my underpants she might have been perturbed.”
Ayda and Robbie’s children are seven-year-old daughter Theodora, five-year-old son Charlton, two-year-old daughter Colette, and three-month-old son Beau.
Former X Factor judge Ayda says their young brood have started to ask some awkward questions about Robbie’s wild past.
The children quizzed their mother if there notorious former Lothario father had dated anyone else before he wed Ayda.
While Robbie recently surprised fans by revealing he is taking his music into a new direction – taking inspiration from disco for his next album.
