Before it had even opened in the USA Avengers: Endgame was smashing the box office taking $169 million internationally.
The newest MCU film had raked it in thanks to pre-sale tickets and a strong opening day in the UK.
The movie opened on Wednesday, April 25 in the UK and the day after in the USA.
In China, Australia, New Zealand and the Philippines, Endgame had the all-time highest single-day opening - a record.
Infinity War is already in Endgame's dust thanks to its strong takings.
The 22nd movie in the MCU - and second to last in the third pase - ties up a lot of story arc begun in Iron Man's 2008 film.
Endgame in China had a $47.6 million day on Thursday and reached $216.6 million yesterday.
The strong start isn't too surprising, experts had predicted the film would break records, but Disney and Marvel must be pleased with the result.

It looks like Endgame will easily become the biggest movie of the year, the highest grossing - the challenge being the next Star Wars.
Forbes reported : "The film earned an $80 million “pure Wednesday” gross, which is second only to Monster Hunt 2’s “pure opening day” gross of $86 million last year.
"That said, the record-crushing $28 million in midnight previews pushed Avengers 4 to $107.2 million over its whole opening day.
"That is the second-biggest single day gross for any movie outside of Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ $119 million North American opening day back in December of 2015."
