Australia's winning streak against New Zealand has been halted at 13 matches, with the visitors triumphing by five wickets in the third and final T20 international in Brisbane.
Set 124 for victory, Amelia Kerr brought up the winning runs for New Zealand with three balls to spare.
The hosts had earlier struggled to find any rhythm with the bat when they were restricted to 7-123, with Ashleigh Gardner top scoring with 29.
Australia won the opening match by 17 runs last Saturday, before wrapping up the series with an eight-wicket triumph the following day.
The two teams will meet again in the first of three ODIs in Brisbane on Saturday.
More to come.
