The Edge of Fate introduced five Trials of Osiris weapons for you to chase in Destiny 2, including two new weapons and three reprised versions of older ones. One of the new weapons is the Auric Disabler, a Strand counterpart to the good old Ammit AR2.
Auric Disabler is a Strand 450 RPM auto rifle that falls under the Precision Frame archetype, just like the Ammit AR2, and is also an Omolon Foundry weapon. While the two are very similar, Auric Disabler stands out with higher stats across the board and better perks for both PvE and PvP.
Here are our Auric Disabler god rolls for PvE and PvP in Destiny 2.
What is the Auric Disabler god roll in Destiny 2?

Auric Disabler PvE god roll
- Barrel: Arrowhead Brake
- Magazine: Appended Mag
- Perk one: Dragonfly
- Perk two: Onslaught or Sword Logic
- Masterwork: Reload Speed
Auric Disabler PvP god roll
- Barrel: Corkscrew Rifling
- Magazine: Ricohet Rounds
- Perk one: Dynamic Sway Reduction
- Perk two: Target Lock
- Masterwork: Range
Auric Disabler can roll Dragonfly in the third column, making it a monster for add-clear when paired with another damage perk in the fourth column, like Sword Logic or Onslaught. Dragonfly creates elemental explosions on precision kills that you can use to snowball Onslaught for increased fire rate or Sword Logic for increased damage (up to 25 percent on average).
This auto rifle also has perks for Strand synergy. Hatchling in the third column creates Threadlings on precision kills. If you don’t use Threadlings, there’s also Slice, which allows you to sever targets for eight seconds after using a class ability. Either of these perks pairs well with Tear in the fourth column, which severs nearby on precision kills.
As a Trials weapon, Auric Disabler has some of the best PvP perks in its offerings, whether you want to chain kills or excel at duels. The best dueling roll is Dynamic Sway Reduction with Target Lock. Dynamic Sway Reduction increases stability and accuracy when continuously holding down the trigger. Target Lock increases the damage the longer you stay on target. While Target Lock doesn’t reduce time-to-kill, it makes the weapon more forgiving when landing precision hits versus body shots.
If you want to chain kills in 6v6 playlists, there’s Sword Logic in the fourth column. Sword Logic increases the weapon’s damage based on the tier of the enemy you killed. In PvP, this buff always equals 25 percent, reducing the overall time to kill from 0.8 seconds to 0.67 seconds.
How to get Auric Disabler in Destiny 2

Auric Disabler drops from Trials of Osiris PvP mode in Destiny 2. Unfortunately, there’s no way to focus weapons; instead, it’s all RNG. You can get a copy by completing a Trials of Osiris match or from the Lighthouse chest, but there’s a higher chance when Auric Disabler is the weekly featured weapon.
If you want to get the Tier 4 and Tier 5 versions of the Auric Disabler, make sure to increase your Power level and Guardian Rank ahead of the next Trials of Osiris weekend, as the quality of your rewards is tied directly to them.
