Aubrey O'Day says she is 'beyond heartbroken' as she shares tragic miscarriage news

Aubrey O'Day announced she has suffered a devastating miscarriage which has left her "beyond heartbroken".

The former Danity Kane singer said she feels "dead inside" as she opened up about her loss and admitted she has been "overwhelmed" by the support from her fans.

Taking to Instagram, Aubrey wrote: "I wouldn't change anything. I think that it's important to let things happen, and stay 'happened'.

"People change so you can learn to let go. Things go wrong so that you appreciate them when they are right.. and sometimes things you want most fall apart so that better things can fall together.

"Everything happens for a reason, I'll always love u my lil one."

The 39-year-old then took to her Stories to share a screenshot of a news article about her miscarriage.

Alongside it, she wrote: "Thank u for all the love in my DM's about my miscarriage. It's crazy, but all I want to do is write and make music about the hell I've been going through bts.

"My entire life music has always been where all the things I have to play the grace card with come out swinging."

Aubrey then shared a screenshot of all of the kind messages from fans and thanked them for their support.

"Y'all just so u know I'm dead inside rn & the amount of love u r giving is truly the universe sending me the family I've never had...

"But I have to take a break from reading them I'm so overwhelmed. I promise I will read every single message & story when I'm able and I LOVE y'all SO MUCH!"

Aubrey opened up about her miscarriage in an interview with E! News, saying: "I'm beyond heartbroken to announce that I've had a miscarriage.

"This isn't my first pregnancy, but it is the first time I was mentally healthy and in a physically prepared place to care for another life."

Amid the heartbreak, the musician is trying to keep a positive outlook, adding: "When my baby is ready, he/she will come and forever be my grateful miracle."

Aubrey first revealed her pregnancy in January after she was spotted cradling her stomach at a red carpet gala event.

Fans have been supporting the singer on social media, with one person commenting: "Oh Aubrey I am so sorry. Sending love and light."

Another wrote: "Tough thing to never get over but get though! Advice from someone with too much experience: you will get through. Sending love and light."
