Aston Villa midfielder left with '35 stud marks' after rough Bristol Rovers treatment for Coventry City

Mark Robins has claimed that Coventry City midfielder Callum O'Hare was left with 35 stud marks after his side's FA Cup win over Bristol Rovers.

The Gas' poor form continued with a 3-0 defeat to the Sky Blues last night that saw them exit the FA Cup in a third round replay.

Max Biamou scored twice for the hosts, with Josh Pask also finding the net, but on-loan Aston Villa midfielder Callum O'Hare really stood out for them.

The 21-year-old attacking midfielder was subject to some rough treatment from Rovers and, speaking to Coventry Live after the game, Sky Blues boss Robins was unimpressed.

He said: "Callum O'Hare was kicked all of over the place.

"I think he has 35 stud marks down his legs but he was outstanding and a put in a really good performance."

Robins, did, however, send a classy message of support to Rovers boss Ben Garner, who has taken a leave of absence due to family illness.
