Ash Taylor insists Aberdeen can end Rangers good run of form in the league as he branded the Premiership leaders "lucky" in their last win over the Dons.
The defender believes the Pittodrie outfit played well at Ibrox in November when they were beaten 4-0, claiming that chastening loss was down to injuries and fortunate goals.
And he reckons they will be in a better place come Sunday and be able to get a better result after two defeats against Steven Gerrard's men so far this season.
A 1-0 defeat on the opening day was followed by the 4-0 loss but Taylor reckons his side are in much better condition for the Premiership clash this weekend.
He said: “It will be tough as they are doing really well. They had a good result at the weekend.
“We are in a better place than we were at the start of the season and we will look to put in a better performance.
“At Ibrox, we had players missing and some of the goals were deflections.
“It was a difficult one to take. We will look to put in a solid performance.
“They are flying this season and doing really well.
“They are well drilled so it will be a tough ask but we have the players in the squad who are capable of doing it.
“If we keep putting the right type of balls in the box we know the goals will come.”
