ASDA shoppers praise 68p chocolate that's 'just like Cadbury' but has hardly any calories

Supermarket shoppers are heaping praise on ASDA's 'delicious' 68p chocolate bars that 'taste like Cadbury' and have barely any calories. The Slimming World-friendly chocolate bars have been designed to give all the taste of original Cadbury chocolate without containing the calories.

Each Cadbury Delights bar is only 91 calories, or 4.5 syns for anybody doing Slimming World. The bars come in boxes of five, which currently cost £1.35 at supermarket giant ASDA - or 68p per bar.

The low-calorie Cadbury Delights bars are currently available in three different flavours - – Salted Caramel, Orange & Caramel, and Hazelnut Flavour & Caramel. They've had many glowing five-star reviews from shoppers on the ASDA website, who have been impressed by how tasty they are given their low calorie count.

A third fan of the Cadbury bars wrote: "Ideal if you follow slimming world only 4.5 syns." A fourth said: "Amazing! Full taste of cadburys in a little bar- 4.5 syns if you are doing Slimming World. Literally can’t get enough of these."

"I wasn’t sure about caramel, nougat and orange chocolate but they are so yummy! Great if you are on a diet as they are low in calories for a little treat. They’re only small but because they are chewy the taste lasts," said somebody else.

Praising the Cadbury bars, another shopper wrote: "I really like these new Cadbury bars, they are a bit like a topic only lighter. Good for keeping calories down, and taste great too."

"These are delicious!! I take them to work for part of my dinner, they taste yummy!! Can't believe they're so low in calories!!" raved another shopper. "I don't normally like things with nougat but these are amazing. Struggle to get them online sometimes so I've been stocking up when I'm in store," wrote somebody else.

Speaking about the new Cadbury Delight range, Abi Eayrs, Cadbury Delights Brand Manager, said: “We’re absolutely thrilled to launch Cadbury Delights in time for the new year and can’t wait to see chocolate fans reactions to the new range. Whether it’s a post lunch treat at work or something to settle an evening sweet-tooth, we’re delighted to offer the same great Cadbury taste in this exciting new 91 calorie range.’’

The Cadbury Delight bars are available to buy for £1.35 per pack on the ASDA website now.
