Apple has had a busy couple of months. Over the past seven weeks or so, the tech titan has unveiled a bunch of new products, celebrated its 50th anniversary, and (most recently) announced a new CEO. Tim Cook has been perched atop the Apple throne since 2011, when he took over from Steve Jobs, but come September his 15-year tenure will be coming to an end.
It's an exciting time for Apple — and for Apple fans — and the perfect opportunity to reminisce about the brand's past successes. Recently, we put a callout on the TechRadar WhatsApp channel for readers to vote for their favorite Apple product of the past 50 years — including the past decade-and-a-half under the helm of Cook. Check out your top 6 winning gadgets below.

Taking the top spot is the first-gen iPhone, which might not have been the world's first smartphone, but was arguably the one to have the biggest impact on the smartphone landscape, with revolutionary features like a multitouch screen and true mobile internet capabilities.
That portable powerhouse (a 3.5-inch screen, imagine) is followed in our rankings by two other pocket-sized winners: the first-gen iPod and iPod Classic. Those the right age will remember the magic of suddenly having access to a library of hundreds of songs while out and about, our Sony Walkmans (Walkmen?) gathering dust at the bottom of our drawers.
The top 3 is a distinctly Jobs-themed bunch, but there are a couple of gadgets from Cook's era that make the cut. And accounting a certain amount of rose-tinted viewing of the wild era of tech innovation that was the first decade of the noughties, that's not a bad result.
Your most highly rated MacBook was the 2020's MacBook Air (in our review, our Computing Ed asserts that "its impact on MacBooks, and laptops as a whole, cannot be underestimated"), and the iPhone X (hailed by TechRadar as "the rebooted iPhone we'd been waiting for") also squeaks in at number 6.
