Arsenal XI vs West Ham: Gabriel injury latest, starting lineup, confirmed team news for Premier League today

Bukayo Saka, Eberechi Eze and Martin Odegaard all start together for Arsenal for the first time when they host West Ham today.

Injuries have prevented the trio from playing together from the off, but Mikel Arteta could unleash them against the Hammers.

Eze and Saka were on the bench for Wednesday’s win over Olympiacos, however, they came off the bench and the latter scored.

Odegaard started that game and he impressed, setting up Saka’s goal and claiming the man of the match award.

Arteta made six changes for the victory over Olympiacos and could make a similar number this weekend for the visit of West Ham to Emirates Stadium.

The full-backs have changed as expected, with Jurrien Timber and Riccardo Calafiori coming in for Ben White and Myles Lewis-Skelly - both named to the bench.

Gabriel starts after coming off early with a knock against Olympiacos, but Arteta said after the game that he thought the Brazilian was fine.

“I think he’s going to be okay,” he said. “He felt something, I think it was a kick, I’m not sure, in the first half, and he was a bit uncomfortable, and towards the second half he was there.

“He could carry on, but we decided not to take any risks, really, because he’s played a lot of games. He comes from a long-term injury as well, and we need to look after him.”

Declan Rice has returned to the midfield after being rested on Wednesday and coming off the bench for the final 30 minutes. He starts alongside Ebere Eze and Martin Odegaard.

In attack, Viktor Gyokeres leads the line as he looks to end a run of five games without a goal.

Saka is used on one wing, with Leandro Trossard reprising his role on the other.

Arsenal starting XI: Raya; Timber, Saliba, Gabriel, Calafiori; Rice, Eze, Odegaard; Saka, Trossard, Gyokeres

Subs: Kepa, Mosquera, White, Martinelli, Norgaard, Nwaneri, Merino, Zubimendi, Lewis-Skelly

Injured: Havertz (knee), Hincapie (groin), Jesus (knee), Madueke (knee)

Time and date: 3pm BST on Saturday, October 4, 2025

Venue: Emirates Stadium
