Arsenal XI vs Crystal Palace: Confirmed team news, starting lineup and injury latest for Premier League

Arsenal have Aaron Ramsdale back inthe starting line-up for the trip to Crystal Palace in the Premier League.

Bernd Leno had been filling in for Ramsdale, who waswith a hip injury picked up in the League defeat by Liverpool last month.

“Aaron is a doubt still. He is still not feeling great,” said Arteta in the build-up. “He hasn’t trained yet, so we don’t know what he will be able to do on Monday.

The goalkeeper evidently passed those last-minute tests. There had been hopes that Takehiro Tomiyasu would be fit too to face Palace, but he does not make the squad.

The right-back has been struggling with an ongoing calf issue, but could make the squad for this evening’s trip to Selhurst Park having not played at all since the Carabao Cup semi-final second-leg defeat by Liverpool back in January.

“I think he will be close, he has been training more and more,” said Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta on Thursday. “He will be joining some sessions this week and let’s see how it is.”

Arsenal have Bukayo Saka back and in the starting lineup, after he tested positive for Covid-19 while on England duty.

Starting XI: Ramsdale, Cedric, White, Gabriel, Tavares, Partey, Xhaka, Odegaard, Saka, Smith Rowe, Lacazette.

Subs: Leno, Holding, Ogungbo, Swanson, Lokonga, Elneny, Martinelli, Flores, Nketiah

When: Monday April 4, 8pm GMT, Sky Sports

Venue: Selhurst Park

Referee: Paul Tierney
