Arsenal vs Sunderland Carabao Cup quarter-final date confirmed

Sunderland have confirmed the date for their Carabao Cup quarter-final tie against Arsenal next month.

The Black Cats will take on the Premier League side at the Emirates Stadium on Tuesday, December 21, with kick-off at 7.45pm.

The tie will be broadcast live on Sky Sports, but ticket information for fans intending to make the trip to London has yet to be announced.

Sunderland booked their place in the last eight of the competition last week after beating Championship outfit QPR in a penalty shootout at Loftus Road.

Prior to that, they had beaten Port Vale, Blackpool, and Wigan Athletic in the early rounds of the competition.

This is Sunderland's first appearance at the quarter-final stage of his competition since they went all the way to the final in 2014, before losing to Manchester City at Wembley.
