Arsenal vs Brighton: Prediction, kick-off time, TV, live stream, team news, h2h results, odds

Big game: Arsenal vs Brighton - (ES Composite)

Arsenal host Brighton having topped the Premier League table at Christmas.

The Gunners continue to set the pace at the summit, although Manchester City are hot on their heels as the title race intensifies.

The north Londoners have responded well to their 2-1 defeat by Aston Villa at the start of the month by winning all of their matches since.

That included a penalty shootout victory over Crystal Palace on December 23 in the Carabao Cup quarter-finals, setting up a semi-final clash with Chelsea.

They have also seen off Club Brugge in the Champions League, scraped past Wolves in injury time, and got Viktor Gyokeres back off the mark in a nervy 1-0 win at Everton.

Nonetheless, they have not faltered since their loss at Villa Park, although just two points separate themselves and Pep Guardiola’s City, who are in a purple patch of form.

Date, kick-off time and venue

Arsenal vs Brighton is scheduled for a 3pm GMT kick-off on Saturday, December 27, 2025.

The match will take place at the Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal vs Brighton team news

For the Gunners, there are injuries aplenty which they just cannot shake off.

Gabriel is still out with the injury he picked up on international duty, and he is no nearer a return here.

Ben White is out with a hamstring injury, while Piero Hincapie is a doubt after picking up a knock against Everton.

Cristhian Mosquera is also sidelined with an ankle issue, while Kai Havertz’s return keeps getting pushed back.

Wonderkid Max Dowman is out for weeks with his own ankle injury, while there could be a quick return for Gabriel Martinelli after he sustained a knock.

For the Seagulls, Jan Paul van Hecke, Danny Welbeck and Mats Wieffer are all set for returns after knocks and illness, but the Sussex outfit have a handful of names out with ACL problems.

Stefanos Tzimas, the big-money striker, is one of them, as is Adam Webster. Solly March has been out for what feels like an eternity, and is closing in on a comeback, but this game will be too soon for him.

Lewis Dunk and Diego Gomez are both suspended, while Carlos Baleba is at AFCON.

Arsenal vs Brighton prediction

Brighton are a tricky customer and could fancy their chances with the number of players that Arsenal have out, but they themselves are missing some key names too.

The Gunners have managed to grind out wins even when not playing well in recent weeks, and should get the job done here again.

Arsenal to win, 2-0.
