Arsenal transfer news: Premier League winger targeted as Edu hit with Declan Rice worry

Your Arsenal transfer round-up on Tuesday, June 20.

Harvey Barnes interest

According to the Daily Mail, Arsenal are interested in Leicester City winger Harvey Barnes.

Barnes is expected to leave the King Power Stadium this summer after the Foxes' relegation from the Premier League last season. Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United have both been heavily linked with the England international in recent times, with Spurs claimed to have seen a £50million bid for Barnes and fellow teammate James Maddison rejected.

Now, their north London rivals Arsenal have been linked with the 25-year-old, who netted 13 goals last season across all competitions.

Potential Rice worry

Saudi Pro League teams are interested in signing Manchester City playmaker Bernardo Silva, according to The Athletic.

It is claimed that the Portuguese international has received lucrative offers to make the move to Saudi Arabia, although he is said to prefer to stay in Europe instead, with both Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain interested. If Silva and City's out-of-contract captain Ilkay Gundogan do leave the Etihad Stadium this summer, it is reasonable to assume that the Premier League champions would be keen to recruit a new midfielder in the transfer market.

Guardiola on Gundogan's future

Pep Guardiola has admitted that Manchester City are still keen to keep hold of captain Ilkay Gundogan amid talk of a potential transfer to Arsenal or Barcelona.

"We are interested in renewing his contract and [Barcelona] are also interested," Guardiola told reporters at the Puma Legends golf tournament, via ESPN, on Monday. "I hope he stays with us.

"We are still fighting for him to stay with us. He is a player we want to stay -- and we will do all we can -- but we know Barca want him.

"If Barca sign him, they will have a spectacular footballer on their hands. I am aware Xavi has called him a lot. If, in the end, he picks Barca, I will tell him he will enjoy himself."
