Arsenal currently own the sixth most valuable squad in world football, according to a new study.
As per Transfermarkt, the Gunners (£568.76m) are behind Liverpool (£973.35m), Manchester City (£971.64m), Chelsea (£755.01m), Manchester United (£719.87m) and Tottenham Hotspur (£644.70m).
Mikel Arteta 's side spent heavily over the summer transfer window, with Thomas Partey, Gabriel Magalhaes, Runar Alex Runarsson, Dani Ceballos (loan) and Willian all arriving at the Emirates Stadium to help bolster the side's chances of reclaiming a top-four spot at the end of the season.
A few months ago, the north London-based squad had a value of £636.08m - which means the price has been lowered by £67.32m.
This likely has much to do with the coronavirus pandemic and teams becoming more likely to sell their players for reduced fees as they seek some financial gain in these difficult times.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Partey are the club's two joint most valuable players at £45m and French striker Alexandre Lacazette comes in at third - being priced at £37.80m.
Then it's club-record signing Nicolas Pepe at £36m and teenage sensation Bukayo Saka being valued at the same price.
Liverpool - the reigning Premier League champions - have the most valuable squad in the world, according to the study, with Diogo Jota and Thiago Alcantara moving to Anfield over the summer, with their overall value now at £973.35m.
