Arsenal 'preparing £80m offer' for Tottenham target amid rumours he will not be sold in January

Arsenal are reportedly keeping a close eye on the situation surrounding Serbian striker Dusan Vlahovic, with the forward keen to move away from Fiorentina and seek a new challenge elsewhere.

Vlahovic, who has also been the target of close rivals Tottenham in recent weeks, has already netted 14 times in just 16 appearances this season is also seen as a target for the Gunners, with reports suggesting an £80million offer is being prepared.

With current club Fiorentina persistent he is not for sale in January nor in the summer, La Viola may have to consider life without their star forward, with some of Europe's biggest clubs also keeping tabs on his current situation.

With Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah set to leave this club this summer, Mikel Arteta will have the task of finding a centre-forward to lead this Arsenal side beyond next season, with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's performances declining as of late as well.

Atlético Madrid have already tested the will power of Vlahovic's current side, as back in August they submitted a €60million (£51million) bid that was rejected by both the player and the club.

The 21-year-old has found the net 39 times in 92 appearances in Serie A and already established himself within the Serbia national side.

An out and out centre-forward, he has the ability to press high or to drop off when the ball is at his feet. He is clinical in and around the penalty area and combines well with wide men to receive balls and finish instinctively.

Many of his goals have come from him cutting onto his favoured left foot, and with Arsenal's joys more often that not coming from the exciting work of Bukayo Saka, it is potentially an intriguing combination.
