Aaron Ramsdale: Not really worked despite the chances West Ham were able to fashion from set pieces, but stayed switched on and produced good saves when called upon. His one from Bowen was a highlight. 7.
Takehiro Tomiyasu: Defensively solid, although his passing on occasion was a little poor. Still another really steady performance from the Japanese international who wasn't asked to get forward much today. 6.
Ben White: A little slow when playing the ball out from the back to the annoyance of his manager, but defended the six yard box well. 6.
Gabriel: Antonio was pretty quiet on the night and eventually began pulling to the right wing, a sign of how little change he got from Gabriel. The Brazilian was concentrated a secure throughout. 7.
Kieran Tierney: Smacked the bar with an effort in the first half that would have been a contender for goal of the season. Generally dealt well with Bowen defensively going the other way too. 7.
Thomas Partey: Played slightly deeper than Xhaka but did the job well. Passing was a lot more crisp, accurate and ambitious. Nearly got some rare goals with efforts from the edge of the box too. 7.
Granit Xhaka: The Swiss midfielder still looks a little rusty as he makes his comeback from injury. A few misplaced passes and chances in the box where he could have done better. 6.
Bukayo Saka: The England international is going to another level with his performances at the minute. Massuaku couldn't live with him throughout the first half. Couldn't really deal with him much of the second half either even after West Ham gave him far more attention. 8.
Martin Odegaard: The Norwegian ended his goalscoring run, but still looked to create openings for his Arsenal teammates with some eye of a needle passes through the final thirds. Good leadership demonstrated on the night as well. 7.
Gabriel Martinelli: An excellent performance from the Brazilian that demands he keeps his place in the side for Leeds. A constant threat down the left with his directness and drive, with a beautifully taken goal to match. 9.
Alexandre Lacazette: The Frenchman was dropping deep, holding the ball, turning to play it forward, linking play wonderfully. However, after his missed penalty his head appeared to drop and his influence on the game diminished severely. 7.
Substitutes -
Emile Smith Rowe: Secured the game with a lovely counter attacking goal in which he combined well with Bukayo Saka. A great finish for that one to boot! 7.
Eddie Nketiah: Came on too late to influence the game. n/a.
