Shakhtar U-turn offers Mudryk boost

Arsenal's transfer pursuit of Shakhtar Donetsk winger Mykhaylo Mudryk has taken a huge step forward as it emerged that the Gunners are set to win the race to acquire his services. Mudryk labelled the 'Ukrainian Neymar', has long been linked with a move across Europe after his performances this season.

Gunners in for Chelsea struggler

Chelsea star Christian Pulisic is attracting interest from rivals Arsenal and Manchester United in the transfer window, according to recent reports. It comes amid uncertainty over the USMNT international's future, having struggled to earn a place in the team consistently at Stamford Bridge.

Three clubs are said to be showing interest in an approach, according to the Daily Mail. Those sides are Arsenal, Manchester United and Newcastle, with the latter two already making enquiries over his availability back in August.

The Blues are said to be considering their options and deciding whether it would be better to let him leave before he runs down his contract or not.

Defender faces blocked transfer

Arsenal defender Cedric Soares could see a move away from the club blocked by Mikel Arteta despite preferring a move away from the club. The right-back has struggled for minutes this season following Ben White's impressive performances and has reportedly been targeted ahead of the January transfer window.

Reports linked the Portuguese with a move away from north London in the summer, with Fulham named as late suitors for him on deadline day. However, Cedric opted to stay at the Gunners to fight for his place in Arteta's side. However, the 31-year-old has only made four appearances all season and football.london reported that Fulham, Aston Villa and Bayer Leverkusen were showing interest.

However, with Arsenal finding themselves top of the Premier League table and challenging Manchester City for the title, Sky Sports presenter Michael Bridge has claimed that Arteta is keen to keep Cedric at the club unless he can bring in an alternative option.
