Arsenal legend Ian Wright makes Man Utd vs Tottenham prediction

Arsenal legend Ian Wright has made his prediction on Manchester United's match against Tottenham.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is searching for a decent result after a boisterous start to the season for the Red Devils.

A loss to Crystal Palace and a controversial win over Brighton has seen the spotlight firmly fixed on Old Trafford.

And they host a blockbuster tomorrow afternoon when they welcome Jose Mourinho, who Solskjaer took over from the Portuguese in 2018.

There have already been some sly barbs from either side.

But the match is where the fireworks will be from two teams looking to finish in the top four this season.

There are a number of sub-plots on the field that will occur, including Bruno Fernandes, Harry Kane and, of course, Mourinho.

And ex-Arsenal striker Wright has leaned towards Spurs for a result against the Red Devils.

"United, they looked to me, when I saw them against Brighton and against Palace, they’ve reverted back to life before Bruno Fernandes got here," Wright told Premier League Productions.

"It seems very easy to nullify and it’s almost like they’re waiting for somebody to do something amazing and then they’ll kick on.

"You see strikers, like Dominic Calvert-Lewin, [Neal] Maupay, [Jamie] Vardy, they’ve not got a striker who’s always in there, in that six yard box, ready to score, at United I don’t see that.

"Spurs have got it with Harry Kane.

"United, they’ve got to create a lot, things have got to happen, they’ve got to play very well for this movement to happen and someone to be in there to finish it.

Solskjaer and Mourinho will lock horns (PA)

"I just feel that Mourinho will probably do something that’s going to nullify them, cause them problems and frustrate them, and they’ve got Harry Kane so they’ll only need one chance."

Tottenham have already played seven times this campaign, whereas United have played four.

But anything can happen in matches like this, making it hard to predict.
