Arsenal fans won't believe what ex-Gunner Daniel Crowley has done in the FA Cup third round

Arsenal are in action in the FA Cup on Monday night against Leeds United.

But one former Gunners star kicked off the third round weekend in style on Saturday afternoon.

Daniel Crowley spent four years with the North London side, joining in 2013 at the age of 15 from Aston Villa.

The youngster went on multiple loan spells to Barnsley, Oxford United and Go Ahead Eagles in the Eredivisie before ultimately leaving Arsenal in the summer of 2017.

He moved on to another Dutch club, Willem II, but after two years he came back to England, joining Birmingham City.

And on Saturday afternoon, the 21-year-old took the FA Cup clash against Blackburn by the scruff of the neck in the opening five minutes.

Crowley picked up the ball five yards into the opposition half before surging forwards and curling an effort in at the far post.

There is a sense of what might've been for the midfielder, who was highly-rated at the Emirates Stadium, with Crowley previously admitting that he feels he is still good enough to play for Arsenal.

"I do see players from my age group playing in the Premier League now and I think, 'How are they playing there and I’m not?" Crowley told Goal.

"Do I think I'm good enough to still be at Arsenal? One hundred per cent. But there are no real regrets because that’s just the way I am. Every career is different.”
