Arsenal 'eye' Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard ahead of next season

Arsenal are reported to be planning a move for Odsonne Edouard.

The Celtic striker, who has scored 28 goals in 45 games this season, has been the subject of speculation for some time. Manchester United have been repeatedly linked with the French striker.

A report in the Daily Mirror claims Leicester and Everton are also interested in the 22-year-old, with his price tag believed to be £30m.

Edouard, who has received six France under-21 caps, has helped Celtic achieve a 13-point lead over Rangers in the league.

With the Premiership currently suspended due to the COVID-19 outbreak, Edouard's captain Scott Brown told fans: "Everyone at the club is now right behind you. Thanks for everything you have given us, your health is everything. So we want you to do everything you can to stay safe.

"We know this is a really difficult time for so many people and we won't see for so long.

"But we want you to know that we will be back and we will be seeing you soon and we are looking forward to it.

"Look after yourself and lots of love from everybody at Celtic, we are right behind you. Take care."
