Good evening, Arsenal fans. Here are your evening headlines for Wednesday, July 29.
Arsenal consider Roma man as Partey replacement
Arsenal are considering Roma’s Amadou Diawara as an alternative to Thomas Partey, according to AS Roma Live, via Sports Mole.
Diawara, 23, joined Roma from Napoli last year and is highly regarded in Italy.
The Gunners are keen on Partey but have struggled as yet to agree a deal with Atletico Madrid.
Reports claim the club have had several bids rejected and are now preparing a €25million (£22m) offer for the Guinea international.
They are likely to face competition from Leicester City for Diawara's signature, with the Foxes interested in the midfielder that played 21 Serie A games last season.
Arsenal confident of extending Ceballos loan
Arsenal believe they will be able to agree an extension to Dani Ceballos’ loan deal at the club.
Ceballos, 23, joined the Gunners on loan from Real Madrid last summer and after a shaky start to life in North London has come into his own under Mikel Arteta.
The club want to extend his stay at the Emirates and it is believed the midfielder is less than keen to return to Madrid after previously struggling to work with Zinedine Zidane.

There were reports in Marca earlier this month that Ceballos was one of several players Real Madrid had earmarked to leave the club this summer with a view to raising funds for incoming transfers.
Ceballos’ contract runs until 2023, meaning Los Blancos could comfortably afford another loan deal before selling him next summer.
Three wonderkids to make an impact next season
Arsenal are set for a testing time in the transfer market this summer as they look to wrestle with several squad issues and the financial impact of the coronavirus.
It would be easy to throw a dozen new faces into the mix, but Mikel Arteta may be better served looking closer to home.
Arteta has previously gone on record with his admiration for the academy and the players it is producing, and James Benge has profiled the three leading candidates for the first-team shot at Arsenal next term.
