Cesc Fabregas recently revealed he's talked to members of the Arsenal squad and they are big fans of Mikel Arteta.
The former Arsenal and Chelsea midfielder claims the squad enjoys playing under his compatriot in north London and that he has both their backing as well as the support of technical director Edu.
The news comes as a boost for Arteta and co. ahead of a very important campaign for the Gunners.
Arsenal finished eighth in the Premier League last season and failed to qualify for European football. Anything less than an improvement this term and Arteta will surely be sacked.

Fabregas said of Arteta, and what he has heard spoken about him, on talkSPORT: "He's a guy that loves football. He knows what he is doing. He has got a clear idea of where he wants to go.
"Even now, if you speak to some of the players, they will tell you that they really enjoy playing under him.
"That the training is well. They feel prepared and they know what they are doing. Still, he is a very young manager.
"He was very lucky and he did very well in terms of being next to Pep. It was like a super preparation for a young coach – it's a difficult job, it really is. Where he got the club or where the club should be.
"I think Edu and the board believe a lot in him. And hopefully, he can be the man to bring this team forward."
Arteta has been in charge at Arsenal for two years now and has been working hard to change the culture at the club and bring in players who fit his philosophy.
This latest update from Fabregas suggests he's very much on top of things as reports from when he was linked with the manager's job back in 2018 indicated the squad wasn't on board with Arteta becoming boss.
According to The Sun, the Arsenal dressing room was not happy with the idea of Arteta taking over from Arsene Wenger at the Emirates helm.
The paper reported at the time that members of the Gunners squad believed the Spaniard to be 'arrogant' and that he thought too highly of himself during his five years as a player at Arsenal.
In the end, it was Unai Emery who replaced Wenger before he was sacked in 2019 and finally Arteta took the top job.
