Arsenal edge close to Nuno Tavares signing
Arsenal are edging close to making Benfica defender Nuno Tavares their third signing of the summer.
With deals from Brighton’s Ben White and Anderlecht midfielder Albert Sambi Lokonga also looking close to completion, the Gunners look set to make a move for the young Portuguese.
The Athletic are reporting that Arsenal could be set to seal a deal for €10million (£8.5m) or less.

Gunners join Sabitzer race
Mikel Arteta is slowly but surely securing his summer targets, with a midfielder, centre-back and left-back all close.
One thing that is missing is a creative midfielder but that could be set to change with the signing of Austrian international Marcel Sabitzer.
According to German outlet Bild, the Gunners are interested in making a move for the RB Leipzig man and are joined by AS Roma and AC Milan in the race for his signature. He is out of contract next summer.

Partey reverts to no. 5
Should Sabitzer arrive in north London, he would likely play alongside Thomas Partey in Arsenal's midfield.
The Ghanaian midfielder might look slightly different though as he dons a new number for the 2021/22 campaign.
Originally given no. 18 following his arrival from Atletico Madrid, he has now chosen 5 instead, a number he wore for both the Spanish giants and his country.
