Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard has been accused of attempting to distract the public from the Trump administrations handling of the Epstein files by accusing the Obama administration of attempting to disempower Donald Trump for decades.
"Oh yeah, we can definitely trust you. I'm sure it's just completely coincidence It came out today," joked one social media user. "Epstein Epstein Epstein Epstein, Epstein, Epstein, Epstein, Epstein, Epstein, Epstein, Epstein, Epstein Epstein."

Gabbard took to social media to share a set of infographics indicating that the Obama Administration had attempted to undermine Trump's victory in the 2026 Presidential election, using intelligence to do so.
"Americans will finally learn the truth about how in 2016, intelligence was politicized and weaponized by the most powerful people in the Obama Administration to lay the groundwork for what was essentially a years-long coup against President @realDonaldTrump, subverting the will of the American people and undermining our democratic republic," she began.

"For months preceding the 2016 election, the Intelligence Community shared a consensus view: Russia lacked the intent and capability to hack U.S. elections," she continued. "But weeks after President Trump's historic 2016 victory defeating Hillary Clinton, everything changed."

Gabbard proceeded to describe how senior officials within the Obama Administration attempted to prevent Trump from assuming office by fabricating evidence that Russian agents meddled in the elections.
"These documents detail a treasonous conspiracy by officials at the highest levels of the Obama White House to subvert the will of the American people and try to usurp the President from fulfilling his mandate," Gabbard wrote.

Social media users quickly took to the replies of Gabbard's thread to call her out for drudging up old conspiracy theories instead of addressing the Trump administration's unwillingness to release files pertaining to disgraced New York financier Jeffrey Epstein.
"Tulsi flying in to release information that was all seen during Comeys trial. What a snooze fest. If you wanna deflect from Trump being on the Epstein list come correct. This is a nothing burger," said one user.

"So you just "found" this 9 year old evidence the same day we discovered Trumps love letter to Epstein?" added a fifth. "Is it normal for cabinets to announce investigations or do they only do that when they are trying to bury another story?"
