Arrest made after fight outside Concert Square bar

Part of Concert Square was cordoned off on Saturday night following a fight.

Witnesses told the ECHO a fight broke out outside McCooley's Bar at around 10.30pm on Saturday, March 25. A small police cordon was in place and police and paramedics were called.

Merseyside Police confirmed they received reports of an incident on Saturday evening in what appeared to be an 'altercation' outside a bar. They added someone was arrested on suspicion of assault.

The police spokesman was unable to give any details about injuries.
