Arnold Schwarzenegger's secret son spotted working out at his dad's favourite gym

Joseph Baena seems to be following in his famous father Arnold Schwarzenegger's footsteps as he was seen heading to Gold's Gym in Los Angeles.

The Terminator actor, 75, often worked out at the now-legendary venue after moving to America in 1968 and his youngest son is now keeping up the family tradition.

Joseph, 25, headed to Gold's Gym on Thursday morning wearing a grey hoodie and a tiny pair of shorts which showed off his muscular legs.

The bodybuilder-turned-actor also wore a white vest top and was seen flexing his muscles after using a weight machine.

He carried all of his equipment in a black bag and left the gym wearing a pair of black and white Vans.

Gold's Gym was made famous after featuring in the 1977 documentary Pumping Iron, which centred on the competition between Arnold and one of his biggest competitors Lou Ferrigno.

Since then, celebrities such as Nicolas Cage, Keanu Reeves and Bruce Springsteen have been known to work out at the institution.

Joseph recently joked that he is "starting to catch up" to his father when it comes to lifting weights and said his dad is the "best training partner" to have at the gym.

Joseph said: "He's the best training partner even though I'm starting to lift a little ... I'm starting to catch up with the weights. He pushes me so much in the gym and we love training together."

When asked by Extra who is the strongest out of the father-and-son duo, Joseph admitted his dad will "always be the strongest in the family".

He also shared the advice his dad has given him about pursuing a career as an actor.

Joseph said his dad is "really supportive" about his acting dreams and pushes him to "work really hard," including encouraging him to make projects his own and "do it on [his] own".

"His main piece of advice has always been, do the reps - and it sounds just like the gym. But it really makes sense because it's all about practice, practice, practice," he said.

Joseph is the youngest of Arnold's five children. He fathered him with housekeeper Mildred Baena while still married to Maria Shriver, with whom he shares his other four kids.
