Corporate tax and tax consulting specialist Armstrong Watson has appointed a new tax associate director in Glasgow to strengthen its tax team.
David Taylor joined Armstrong Watson from accountancy firm PwC where he spent three years working in both the private business and mergers and acquisitions tax teams.
He will now lead Armstrong Watson ’s tax consulting team in Glasgow.
His appointment follows the hire of tax partner James Fraser in Leeds and the promotion of Becky Bowness to tax partner in Cumbria.
Taylor brings almost a decade of experience in his areas of expertise. He specialises in working alongside private businesses at various stages in their development, helping them with ad hoc tax queries as well as supporting companies during the merger and acquisition process, either from the sales or buying side, providing tax assistance in respect of this.
