Arizona State wide receiver N’Keal Harry to meet with Seahawks

The Seattle Seahawks have had a wild 24 hours between signing quarterback Russell Wilson to a contract extension, locking up restricted and exclusive rights free agents and kicking off their offseason workout program.

But Seattle isn’t finished with team business just yet this week as the Seahawks are also hosting a number of prospects on visits ahead of the NFL draft in April.

The latest player linked to Seattle is Arizona State wide receiver N’Keal Harry, who is currently en route to the Pacific Northwest after meeting with the 49ers in the Santa Clara. Harry has already spent time with the Cardinals in Arizona, according to NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo.

The Seahawks are now in need of some help in the wide receiving corps following the news Doug Baldwin underwent his third surgery of the offseason, this time to correct a sports hernia injury.

With Seattle’s No. 1 receiver uncertain to be 100 percent by the start of the season, it’s no surprise the Seahawks are vetting alternatives – even potential second-rounders – despite missing that pick in this year’s draft.

Harry projects as one of the top receivers in the class and if Seattle is truly interested, the Seahawks will have to work some draft-day magic to avoid reaching for him in the first round.
