Ariana Grande in Glasgow: What you can and can't take with you to tonight's SSE Hydro gig

The day is finally here - Ariana Grande is performing in Glasgow tonight!

The '7 Rings' singer will play the SSE Hydro this evening, with doors opening at  6.30pm and Ariana taking to the stage at around 9.20pm.

She will have two support acts ahead of her performance, with the first being Social House, who recently featured on her track 'Boyfriend'. They will be followed by British R&B star Ella Mai.

But there are some strict rules that gig-goers need to obey ahead of tonight's show, and the last thing you want is to not be held up at the event - or worse, not be allowed to attend. So here's what you need to know ahead of tonight's show.

Clear bags only

The main thing fans need to know ahead of tonight's concert is the clear bag policy that has been put in place.

Each attendee is allowed to carry one 100% clear bag made of plastic, vinyl, or PVC or a re-sealable clear freezer/ziplock bag.

All clear freezer/ziplock bags must be a one gallon resealable clear freezer bag or smaller.

Exceptions can be made for items that are a medical necessity, which will be permitted following a thorough inspection at a designated gate.

Additionally, anything you bring with you has to be placed individually in the bag, rather than being placed in additiona bags placed inside a clear bag.

The rules have been put in place as a safety precaution following the terror attack that occurred at her concert at Manchester Arena in 2017.

Twenty-three people died and over 100 were injured when a suicide bomber detonated a homemade bomb at the end of her concert.

It led to the pop superstar putting strict rules in place for her Sweetener World tour, which began in America.

No cameras or recording devices

Cameras and other recording devices are strictly banned from the concert. But don't worry, you won't have to keep your phone at home. Mobile phones with cameras are still permitted, so you should be able to hold onto some memorable moments from the night.
