Argos issues urgent recall for three Cuggl highchairs over fears children could fall out

Argos has issued a warning to parents who bought its Cuggl highchairs amid fears children could fall out and hurt themselves.

The retailer said a fault in three versions of the chairs has been spotted that could lead to your little ones falling out.

"Testing has shown in some cases the back of the highchair could fail, resulting in a child falling from the highchair," Argos said.

The affected highchairs are the:

  • Cuggl Little Sheep Deluxe Highchair, catalogue number 819/5584
  • Cuggl Plum Deluxe Highchair, catalogue number 759/3187
  • Cuggl Pumpkin Deluxe Highchair, catalogue number 707/8956

Argos issued a stern warning to owners as part of it's recall notice telling them to " STOP USING IT IMMEDIATELY and return it to an Argos store for a full refund of £39.99" [Argo's emphasis].

It added that you will not need a receipt.
